No, these are yeasts. These are the small microorganisms that metabolize the sugars in kombucha and like to accumulate in small clusters.

This often looks unappetizing and strange to the beginner, but is completely normal and harmless.

The yeast streaks can easily be washed off with water before the next preparation!
